A Light-Drive is easier than a Warp Drive.
The rotating di-electric plates of the utron disk in the OTC-X1 lower engine could provide artificial gravity for the travelers (otherwise the travelers would experience zero-g's, not even from the acceleration forces of their ship).
Di-electrostatic propulsive hull plating can cover the entire bottom of the craft as well as the top, with special considerations to the vertical core from top of impeller to bottom of central accumulator.
At high enough volts, di-electrostatic hull plating alone can accelerate the ship to electrostatic wave speed. Forces through the central Z axis (impeller to central accumulator) in di-electric alignment may not interfere with an extension of hull plating around the ship, which may develop additional [negative] capacitance overall.
No inertia is felt by travelers on board as ship accelerates or takes fast right-angled turns.
The central rotating engines, particularly the vertical impeller must increase time frequencies in order to travel faster than electrostatic wave speed.
Out in deep space, time is faster. Away from star systems, time is at its fastest. Light speed (electrostatic wave speed in this case) is only limited to the frequency of gravitytime set by massive gravity fields. The ship should travel much faster in deep space between star systems, if using just di-electrostatic propulsion alone.
The role of the central accumulator in this system is significant. I do not believe it would hinder travel at electrostatic wave speed, because it is the central accumulator for negative energy density. The impeller ties in a frequency imbalance between the more elevated top hemisphere of the ship which also has more surface area. In such a system, electrostatic wave speed could slow the warp ship down if it weren't considered a superconductive negative energy field within a star system's gravitytime frequency, that allows travel at the star system's gravitytime frequency (the relative speed of light).
A warp drive implies the ability to travel faster than the relative speed of light, so even though speed may be greatly increased outside the star system, a Light-drive is still traveling at that relative speed of light, not exceeding the frequency of spacetime, as a warp drive should do.
Potential issues: On-board gravity may have to be regulated, limited, or cancelled through hull plating between the OTC-X1 and inside hull of the LAU-X class. The central accumulator may have to be discarded in favor of a vertical time-impeller through the full vertical span. The vertical impeller may have to be shielded from the Central Accumulator electrically to not overcharge it, but while being able to maintain appropriate relative time frequency in a balanced manner through the inside and outside aspects of the ship. Parallel gravity is transmitted in parallel; anything not directly over the OTC-X1 utron di-electric plates should not experience any on-board gravity.
Any excess of energy generated in the OTC-X1 system can also be diverted to the vertical impeller away from the on-board gravity plates (the rotating OTC-X1 di-electric utron frame).
Regarding the Central Accumulator, it accumulates the energy of negative energy collapse, and gravitational collapse, in a negative inertial field. It gives the energy a place to collapse to, which is perhaps unneccessary, whereas the di-electrostatic outer hull plates carry the energy of the collapse. I'm thinking 6 of one kind, half a dozen of another. The benefit however, is the accumulation of negative frequency above and aside what di-electrostatic hull plating can achieve.
The combination of these engine systems do otherwise appear to allow a ship to exceed the relative speed of light, now that propulsive di-electrostatic hull plating can be used definitely in the vacuum of space according to various experimental test results from various people. In some cases developing faster rotation in test setups in a vacuum than in the air.
The impeller within the ship now can serve to adjust the temporal frequency of the craft to exceed the normal superconductive speed of light of space, because it has been seen how di-electrostatic plating alone can achieve light-speed travel.
There may be a few things overlooked, but I want to emphasize that a Light-Drive is easy to achieve. Because of that, it puts warp drive into a new perspective. That perspective must be considered along with a Central Frequency Accumulator, of time and energy, or not. With a vertical impeller alone (without the central accumulator), it may not be possible to accelerate negative frequency in a way that the ship can hold that field because of the di-electrostatic hull plating form of propulsion that has been verified to work in a vacuum; of which the impeller alone would just be mimicking the same forces, rather than acting in frequency transforming ways, unless acceleration of frequency alone will actually accelerate the time frequency (but it possibly will require the Central Accumulater, however due to the incredibly simple dynamics of a Light-Drive, all of this has to be examined carefully, and re-examined).
So, here is a stopping point until the differences and varying conditions can be fully determined.

A Light-Drive is entirely possible and indeed easily achieved. It speeds up time in the ship, slowing time to a crawl everywhere else outside the ship using negative energy. It can travel much faster outside the star system.
The Light-Drive is different than the warp drive. But they closely resemble each other. The warp drive will use tachyon mechanics. It is possible for the warp drive to work also. The warp drive may have teleportation characteristics.

General Notes:
With the development and discovery of di-electrostatic propulsion, it changes things. Also the development and understanding of negative energy changes things. First, the OTC-X1 is understood now as a negative energy generator, illustrating the natural geometry of the universe. In the original OTC-X1, the pilots did not travel over the di-electric plates, and that is also note-worthy. Yet now that negative energy can be generated in a different geomtry, to completely contain the ship using conductive di-electrostatic hull plating, we can look at internal and external forces. Certainly applying di-electrostatic external propulsion to the di-electric negative energy OTC-X1 engine design allows the travelers to travel as a light-drive.
I don't want to say travelling at light speed, but rather at gravity-time relative frequencies, which are di-electrostatic instead of electromagnetic; and they are superconductive. The "relative speed of light" as a defining term is a lot different than saying "travelling at light speed" because of issues of mass and relativity and those things that have limited people's abilities to perceive reality accurately in the past.
It is not necessary to carry the OTC-X1 design into a light-drive capable ship using di-electrostatic negative energy propulsion alone. But the need for negative mass is a requirement in standard physics. The role of the Central Accumulator is to accumulate negative mass frequencies. But also, if the frequencies of the entire ship are able to be expressed dynamically, then the negative mass field generators are merely the dynamic flight characteristics of negative energy di-electrostatic inertia alone, which is able to be generated by the superconductive structure of the ship hull using the propulsive hull plating and shielding characteristics. Therefore this allows the OTC-X1 to be incorporated as a secondary system, not as a primary engine.
The difference is to create a negative energy field using the OTC-X1 engine, or completely contain the ship in a negative energy bubble, handled by the hull itself. The speed limit of frequency is the relative speed of light due to naturally superconducting forces of universal geometry. How to exceed that frequency is the goal of warp drive mechanics.
Even if the ship can travel much faster in deep space than in a star system's gravity frequency, due to increased frequencies away from star-system gravity forces, then it must be seen that any speed limit of relative frequency is just that -- relative.
Speed multipliers can be depicted as frequency multipliers, such as the vertical impeller multiplying the negative frequency of di-electrostatic wave speed. Also speed multipliers can be concerned more with the reduction of mass, or the negation of mass -- transforming positive mass into negative mass. That alone falls strictly under tachyon mechanics, and warp drive mechanics.
Such a mechanism though, must push past its own superconductive limit of the relative speed of light. That is to say, the system cannot be completely enclosed in a negative energy bubble, or to completely be encased in di-electrostatic hull plating, because that would impose a superconductive limit to that of only the relative speed of light.
A tacyhon's speed limit is in reverse of conventional matter. It cannot travel any slower than the speed of light. And as it loses energy (matter/energy-unity), it travels faster and faster, beyond the speed of relative light.
At a state of zero mass, the ideal state of being is that of a photon; whereas negative mass implies the "loss of energy" of mass to such an extreme that it travels faster than light. Yet the paradox of this is that a photon really has no speed limit, but is able to teleport and to be in multiple places at once. Yet even matter exhibits these characteristics, such as an electron can also travel through both slits at once, and indeed replicate itself taking both paths at once (like stereo radio).
Using negative mass and di-electrostatic frequency acceleration, then the time-like limitation of speed can be adjusted beyond the limitation of superconductivity. That is the point of the warp drive, which also must have teleporting characteristics by its very nature.
This is why the LAU-X class is designed as it is.
A superconductive quanta, on a macro level can be considered. Structural changes to that quanta can also be considered not just to mass-less particles, but to particles with both mass and negative mass. Just one particle can't really be considered as anything but a component; because the universe depends upon particle pairs in order for there just to exist only one particle. For example no positive particle can exist without there to be negative particles. The only exception is light itself.
Fields also work in harmony with other fields just like an electromagnetic field is a combination of harmonics, not an individualized particle. It is logical to consider negative mass is the reason why the OTC-X1 can pass through matter. It is logical to consider also that a superconductive mass is different than a superconductive negative mass. An electron naturally moves at the relative speed of light, for example. If a field of negative mass is responsible for superconductive propulsion, then are electrons naturally existing in a state of collapse of mass of it's own? What we consider of an electron to have mass, may actually be an aspect of negative mass, or reduced mass, unique to its state of being. These are things we can consider.
What I'm getting at here, is something of the nature of the OTC-X1's ability to work in gravity fields to cancel those gravity fields, not of itself, but of it's surroundings and of what fields act upon it. Also, Townsend Brown's saucer disks had a speed limit due to Earth's gravity field acting upon them. Away from Earth gravity field, those saucers could travel at higher speeds, without resistance, without a larger force acting inductively upon its engine frequencies.
Given a ship's ability to act inductively upon itself however, in a setting of deep space, means it must act in harmony (co-action) with the natural harmonics of the universe, conductive space. Space is obviously conductive, and has frequency. When you consider how everything is interconnected, such as how someone can be thinking of someone else, and the other pick up on that thought at the same time, no matter of the distance, then not only is consciousness an aspect of the universe and of all frequency, but also an aspect of light.
Not only can the OTC-X1 cancel gravity forces, but also it accelerates temporal frequency (which may be the whole reason why gravity forces are cancelled, but is most certainly a factor of it). For this reason, a warp drive can shorten the distance travelled, through frequency change, and can act inwardly upon itself to conduct energy to a distant place, teleporting energy to another place in the universe just as Tesla had done (once teleporting energy to Siberia explosively for example), whereas energy is matter, frequency, mass, and light.

The Alcubierre warp drive which shows that negative energy has to be used to move mass to relative light speed without imposing a time dilation effect described by Special Relativity can apply specifically to the mechanics of a Light-Drive, rather than a warp drive, or a hyperdrive.

So these are multiple propulsion systems individually that work, but when used in harmony in geometrical dimensions, it certainly is the conclusion that there are certain minor little issues that can be a problem, but overall generally it will work in multiple ways. I know that's a horrible way to put it, but the LAU-X class design is the combination of multiple engines, whereas each engine can be appreciated and even modified, and the overall combination of these engine systems illustrate a multi-dimensional unified physics which use the engines as an example to understand these "special" unified physics.
These physics state that these engines can work, how they work, and why.
Probably the most important thing in all this is the ability to transform the ship into light itself, to travel nearly instantaneously to another star, in that exotic action of a photon -- having no particular polarity, and acting inwardly upon its own frequency to quickly be at another star (Super-Luminal Flight).
That I suppose is the paradox, or rather the unity of the paradox of a Light-Drive . . . which describes both cases of travelling at the relative speed of light, or instead to travel AS light. Hyperdimensional light (warp drives or hyperdrives) though, is the next best thing closer to be able to achieve.

According to mainstream physics and govt space authorities like NASA, even if an engine like the EM drive actually works, it's not considered "credible" unless there is math and theory to explain why it works. Any explanation is going to be limited to a scope of what is impossible rather than what could be possible and what has been proven to be possible by actual test results.
In a scope of superconductivity, negative mass/energy, and an increase/acceleration of those negative mass/energy frequencies, a warp drive is born, and is very real according to the construct of physics already backed by math and theory and historic experimental results, including modern successful tests. That is the damn truth.
It's considered more scientifically credible to cast doubt on what is being discovered, rather than to stand firm in one's own sense of knowledge.
Superconductivity is the relative speed of light - the speed limit of local gravity-time frequency. Increasing the frequency of negative gravity-time (negative mass fields of temperal continuity) increases speed of time per distance travelled, increasing the speed of local gravity-time frequency, increasing the relative speed of light beyond that of a star-system's gravity-time frequency ... moving faster than a star-system's frequency of superconductivity is a warp drive.
Superconductivity pertains to mass. It is mass that has the speed limit. Negative mass is not limited to the relative speed of light unless it is the lower limit travelling at speeds no less than the speed of light. When a system hits zero mass, it is able to travel at light speed, and to teleport, and to travel AS Light. If a system goes beyond that limit into the negative mass, then it once again incurrs a limitation -- that of light speed, but as the lower limit; whereas the upper limit of speed is faster than light speed (tachyon mechanics).
The very first thing taught in a logical discipline of philosophy is: autonomy -- the truth cannot be told or purported by an authority claiming to monopolize the truth; rather, the truth MUST be [self-] realized, learned, and known on an individual basis, otherwise it is NOT the truth. No one can tell you what you should or should not believe, otherwise it is not your belief, but it is doctrine and dogma which is anything but belief.
The only question concerning warp drive physics is not a question of if it is real, because it can be logically determined to be real; whereas the truth is revealed through experimentation; but the reality of it exists more in the state of mind and understanding, whereas the truth of what is real, as a science that determines what is true and false is realized through the science of logic.
The truthful question is whether or not the Human specie is responsible enough to pursue warp drive. It is clear that if both the truth and the reality is hidden, then that is darkness rather than light. It is untruthful and unscrupulous to hide both the truth AND the reality, which is to not be responsible. It is not more responsible to lie, cheat, steal, and threaten death and ruin upon scientists. That is evil to do so. It is responsible to practice law -- natural law, universal law, common law, and the uniform laws of life and of the Earth that regulate responsibility to life, and of that responsibility life enacts with other life.
It is also responsible to discern, to discern light from darkness, to discern honor from dishonor, to determine those who do not honor life, from those who do.
Everyone makes mistakes. But, it is not science that harms life. Science teaches us about life. It is people who harm life, or water life to grow. Those who harm life will never achieve light. That is the very safeguard upon this science of light and light-drives.
That is also the reason why our star system is quarantined according to some who are in the know. It is inherently harmful to the universe of life that evil is more empowered than the light. Until the internal problems are fixed upon the Earth, and people do not have to ask permission to survive, then nothing more beyond this level of knowledge will be shared.
