As you can see the math is very different in the two examples above.
Finally the circular segment geometry precisely calculates line of sight distances. So the instances discussed on the flat earth relative frames article at the bottom of this page has finally been resolved so that objects no longer are calculated to be below the horizon. Those were flat Earth lies unfortunately using the wrong math. This actually comes up in the recently added video at the bottom of this article.

Secondly, I'd like to point out the map.
Light itself is the best "measuring stick" once again, as we shall examine the sunlight in Antarctica during its seasons; and also shall examine time.
Right away, I want to point out that a gravitational model of a round Earth will allow for zero gravity in the center of Earth, as the mass of Earth around the center pulls upon the center, and pulls upon the surface. So the center of Earth will have zero gravity, unless it has negative gravity being a negative electromagnetic ground. Gravity cannot be ruled out as non-existent in a Flatte Earth narrative, due to the response from the post below, "Logic is Truth."

Antarctica has two months of sunlight nearly 24 hours a day. But, the flat Earth model shows a flat map with Antarctica at the edge, and the sun moving around the map, giving sunrise / sunsets per 24 hours to Antarctica.
This map is accurate according to the Flat Earth Society, which is the leading accepted Flatte Earth narrative.
If Antarctica receives nearly 24 hours a day of sunlight during its summer season, then why does this map show only HALF of Antarctica illuminated at one time DURING the day?
The sun rotates around the disk per 24 hours. This is an incorrect map, because it is centered around the northern hemisphere at the North Pole.
In the map, the south pole is represented by the outer circumference. When the sun travels south seasonally, the sunlight does not overlap the pole, like it does when centered around the north pole. The north pole summer months receive nearly 24 hours per day of sunshine, and the sun appears to travel in a circle around the horizon, so the sunlight overlaps the Arctic circle for full-time sunlight.
The south perimeter ring, the sunshine appears to rise and set every day, and the flat Earth map does not allow for 24 hours of sunshine per day in Antarctica, during the Antarctic summer months.
This map then, does not fit the reality of Antarctica seen at the McMurdo Station in the months of January and February. The only way to show an accurate map of the reality we Humans experience on Earth is to have the southern hemisphere map centered around the south pole, to have two flat Earth maps that fits the reality of each hemisphere. But to do that would blow the whole model.
Also, the time zones don't work right. Out at the edge of a flat map, the distance is longer than it should be because the time per hour of longitudinal rotation is warped, in that it is lengthened beyond what is measured by Australians living in the southern hemisphere.
This map shows the time zones of Earth, in that the outer edge where Australians, and South Africans and South Americans all live, is in a time warp, where the time it takes them to travel a distance that would normally take a couple of hours East to West in Canada would take many more hours in New Zealand, and over a much longer distance.

So what's special about Antarctica?
Why do they want people to think the Earth is flat, as a result?
Who are "they" and is this really the case? Certainly the Flat Earth paradigm is an experiment in social psychology to determine the readiness of the public to discern the truth and to act responsibly with information in a pre-Disclosure era. So as long as people run wild with a Flat Earth narrative, people are proving that not everyone is ready for Disclosure. That's the point I'm trying to make. It's entirely possible that people will have to be in agreement with each other not to tell others what we know, if others prove to not be ready for it. In the case of information such as on this website, those who are not prepared to see will merely dismiss these possibilities, and not even be interested in reading anyway.
It may very well seem that we are living side-by-side with another specie of Human, in fact, forced to respect their own evolutionary path as we continue on our own ....... except for the tyrannical and ignorant politicians and global banksters, of which the only way to truly honor ignorance as an evil tyrannical force is to uproot it from the planet. As long as the people are divided however, it is possible there can coexist two different species of Humans (discernible by capacity of intelligence and emotional integrity), unifiable by unconditional Love. This is why Disclosure is a difficult delivery, currently.
It must be said though, that it only SEEMS like we are living as two species side-by-side, but we are of One Kind. This must be taken into consideration, so as there does not exist a division between our brothers and sisters. Again, this falls back upon Ascension mechanics, about the ways to influence the reality around one to be more harmonious with all the life that is interconnected together.
I'll tell ya right now though, a flat earth reality will NOT ascend. (an obvious example of this is that flat Earthers don't believe in outer space and think of Earth reality as "in a box" contained in a dome.) Flat earth is a diverging reality from a reality of Ascension.

The latest news about Antarctica is that under the ice, when Antarctica was once warm and green long ago, perhaps as old as a million years ago, there was an ancient and very technologically ultra-advanced Human and ET civilization which thrived, but it suddenly flash froze.
So under the ice, there's a lot of super advanced technology and ships and whatnot just laying around. Well not anymore, because it's been picked over and secreted away. Not many understand the technology it may seem . . .
In fact, the Piri Reis map, and the map making of the 16th century (mid 1500's), put Antarctica with longitude at the south pole, but showing the continent without any ice, right around 13,000 B.C.
That's roughly the same time the mammoths in Siberia, Russia were flash-frozen.
Antarctica is written into many people's probable timelines and probable selves.
We're also finding out that a lot of very advanced technology and bodies have been removed from the sites in Antarctica, and less-advanced alien technology is being pulled out of the warehouses and planted at these locations. World leaders and authorized people are then brought in to see the manufactured scenario in a partial disclosure agenda that can manipulate another world paradigm, once again by hiding the truth.
The layers of compartmentalization is okay so as long as each step along the way is accessible, but guarded for the right reasons. But when compartmentalization is used to hide layers of truth without a means to access the truth, that is when it becomes impossible for people to wisely evolve in ways of more advanced ethics and code of honor. That's when technology becomes dangerous for all of Humanity due to the hoarding of technology without understanding it. The fact that people are getting angry over this means that something of a dishonorable nature is going on in this situation.
The biggest fear is that disclosure represents a security risk. However, disclosure also represents much more. The risks of secrecy is for purposes to control, and to be protected against those who would want to have control. But many are already at a level of reality where the control paradigm applies differently to a more logical reality, where the old control paradigm does not apply to any logical layer of reality.

In related news, it has been reported by Dr. Michael Salla that Saddam Hussein had uncovered a stargate, and all the fighting in the Mid East was concerning this. Here is a follow up on it, which relates also to Antarctica, and perhaps should be on the exo-archaeoastronomy page, but this falls into the planetary news category much more-so.
Saddam also had constructed a very unusual communication tower which looked similar to a space needle and was one of the first targets destroyed in operation desert storm years ago.
It's unclear if it was either a stargate or a portal .. A stargate goes to many worlds. A portal goes to one destination. It's a "planetary portal" they found, also according to Barbara Marciniak's writings. A large planetary portal. ... I have some contacts in the loop a little as to what has been found in Antarctica. They also found submarines which use magnetohydrodynamic propulsion .. which I presume were the Nazi submarines in Antarctica.
From what they discovered in Antarctica, it also gives them access to a lot of ancient sites all around the world. But as I understand it, the scientists involved do not fully understand the stone and crystalline power sources that are also in places like South America. Some of those places use spheres inserted into receptacles to power up ancient machines.
Some spheres are scattered throughout the Earth, on some Islands like Galapagos or Gallapilos (sp?) island and in Costa Rica.
Gateway of the Sun in Peru is another such machine.
Some of the technology is presumed to open up an ancient Hall of Records that may have been found in South America. There are many untouched locations in that area which the natives still keep their secrets. Also one of the largest shipyards for the secret space programs is there. What they found under Antarctica also includes kilometer long cylinder spacecraft very very ancient, which are basically interstellar capable.
This technology was known to Tesla however. Tesla and Cal Richardson had used special energy technology (negative energy) that has off-world ET roots and origins to power up the world fair (I forget the year) using free energy - the abundant energy of the universe.
In fact the starships found in Antarctica (also corresponding to what was crashed on the moon, reported in esoteric circles) use an impeller drive system capable of warp drive faster-than-light travel, and that is being reported also by a few others in the loop .. with contacts in the know.

Here is an addition of a controversial experiment:
The experiment takes place on water or at a large lake. At one end of a line of site distance, a transom telescope is placed; at the other end is a bridge with a measuring stick up to an elevation of 13 feet from the surface of the water up. The transom is mounted at 13 feet from the surface of the water up and has a level line of site to the bridge at the other end. A boat goes out to the middle, or a buoy with a measuring stick from surface of water up. That height of the boat's measuring stick will be sticking up higher in the middle, due to the Earth's curve.
The same experiment can be performed using a little island in the middle instead of a boat.

To add to the collection of my "debunk the flat Earth and try to explain stuff" hobby, I want to share this beautifully done video below .. which actually has nothing to do with Antarctica itself, but ... since this article is probably my best debunking article, I want to kick it off with a bang.
Yeah, I admit, I love the gravity-lens concept a bit too much, although it may account for about 33% of distortion, whereas atmospheric lensing accounts for the other 66% of distortion, still it's a beautiful thing to actually consider so as long as you don't say there's no such thing as gravity. Some flatte Earthers do indeed account for gravity, even though they say gravity is just a theory, and they present their own version of an electromagnetic theory of gravity, whereas they are nonetheless still spouting a theory of something that is proven to exist as a fact, and the fact is: gravity really does exist, even though you may explain how it works in multiple ways, it nonetheless exists.
Let's face it. There's no way a flat Earther will ever understand any of this, otherwise they wouldn't be a flatte Earther to begin with. It does NOT mean that YOU have to be AFRAID that our specie is degenerating into a new dark age of ignorance, not when we have warp drive on the table. PUT IT INTO PERSPECTIVE.
I have other things going on at this website other than just hyperdrive and warp drive research, such as metaphysics (to help explain thought-piloting and creation, which is part of creating a reality of warp drive), which is important, and was the foundation for this study to begin with. This planetary news page was never intended to tackle flat Earth delusion, nor to address all the intentional lies that Flat Earthers purport, but to help people to see things in a different perspective, and to assist in discerning the nature of reality we live in (going back to metaphysics). However, I admit I got carried away a little bit.
The gravity lens explanation was to show that even though you may see a flat horizon (which does have a tiny bit of curvature, depending on your height), it is not evidence enough to claim that the Earth is flat, due to gravity and atmospheric lensing, and other phenomena.
It also goes without saying that you can't feel the Earth spinning, just the same way that if you're in a fast-moving passenger jet or bus, you can be traveling at 400 miles per hour (in an airplane) and get up and walk up and down the isles, and not feel the reality of your speed (see: laws of inertia). Due to gravity of Earth, even though Earth spins and there is a bit of circular acceleration going on, the gravity force counteracts the relatively slow scalar force of centrifugal motion. Let's face it, if a tennis ball were wet, and it were to spin at the same scalar rate of Earth, it would make one full rotation in a 24 hour time period. You would hardly even detect it was moving at all. Relatively speaking, that is how SLOW our Earth actually spins, and the tiny bit of centrifugal force is not nearly enough to counteract the force of gravity, which if you read down a ways, one can NOT claim gravity does not exist.
Since gravity attracts to the center of mass, then the force of down is always to the very center of Earth, anywhere on the surface you are. Let's have a little common sense please, and put the notion of -- pouring water on a basketball is always going to spill out on the floor -- to bed.
The purpose of the multi-world realm concept of possible lands or worlds or realms beyond the south pole actually has helped a multitude of Flatte Earthers to realize that we are not isolated and trapped on Earth, living in a box, where there is no life or any reality outside of Earth, but that we can go to other worlds, maybe on a rainbow bridge from the land of the frozen south ... But as I've stated in "The Game" article below, there's no reason I need to address Flat Earthers at all, other than I'm just very compassionate and don't want the ignorant to be the hardest hit when Disclosure goes more mainstream.
One last thing, the Apollo mission to the moon route has been explained by taking a northern route over the poles to avoid the radiation density of the Van Allen belts. If you've ever looked at the belts, they are a donut shape around Earth, with the lowest concentration over the poles (the holes of the donut of the Van Allen belts). Look it up, and ...
