This article has been a work in progress over a year to address and examine the strange "Flat Earth" phenomena that has gained so much traction and publicity in today's times.
What is the "Flatte Earth?"
Essentially, the argument illustrates that the horizon is flat even in space, and that we can see much longer line-of-sight distances over many more miles than what we are supposed to, on the surface.
There are other aspects to the "Flat Earth" though that are ridiculous arguments, such as that space does not exist, planets don't exist and cannot be seen through telescopes, and that there is no south pole, and that a dome exists over the Earth preventing us from going into space. There is a "no-fly zone" in the upper atmosphere where aircraft and rockets and such have trouble flying, and is a type of atmospheric barrier that has to be pushed past, and can be pushed past with enough momentum and velocity, however that is not currently discussed in this article, and should not be mistaken for any "dome."
The phenomenon of the flat Earth is due to a gravity lens effect of Earth gravity and inertial mass, and that is explained at the very bottom of this article.
The polar projected map similar to the UN flag, and the Mercator projected map which distorts Greenland also come into question. A straight course an airplane can fly from South Africa to Australia not only is a western travel over the ocean, but also shoots up over Saudi Arabia to travel in a straight line to Australia. Also A straight course from the Philippians to Los Angeles can be a western course passing near Hawaii, OR a straight shot over Alaska, both are straight lines of travel, and that is due to the shape of the Earth.
The overall conclusion of this examination is that the Earth is round, but we can see farther distances than we should due to the gravity lens of Earth, which flattens out the curve. Also, questions such as time anomalies have been addressed on the warp drive engineering page pertaining to the temporal anomaly of the south pole.
The circumference of the Earth can be calculated by the time zones on a 24 hour clock. Such as the sun rises an hour earlier to the east in the adjacent time zone. However the circumference of the Earth, and line of sight distances are distorted by the gravitational warp of Earth curvature as shown at the bottom of this article. Tall thunderstorms can only be seen via lightning flashes at night at a limited distance, perhaps no more than 150 miles away if you're not on a mountain while observing, and that also shows the Earth curvature is more pronounced farther up in the atmosphere, and flattened out more along the surface.
This is a long and curious article. One day I shall edit it better, but for now, it is assumed the reader of this article to have a genuine interest, and have access to a good telescope that can see the planets in great detail as proof that planets can be seen through common powerful telescopes.
Relative acceleration and relative deceleration (discussed on the home page) also shows that the Earth does indeed spin. We don't fly off the surface, but the weather does move in direct relation to Earth's spin. Also, as construction workers have known, a steel I-beam dangling from a crane will always spin, and that is due to Earth's spin. I-beams spin in the opposite direction in the southern hemisphere than how they spin in the northern hemisphere, and the weather patterns also show that Coriolis effect.
All of these aspects have come into conflict as far as proofs are examined; many people claim to have counter arguments; however this article indeed addresses the proof that the Earth is round, as well as the obvious proof that the Earth is somewhat mysteriously flattish. And that the whole phenomena can be explained by gravity's effect to warp space.
This is what no one knows, and what no one has addressed or attempted to explain. These arguments are not in the school text books, but are very obvious things we see and observe with our naked eye.
Not everyone will be able to understand this amazing phenomena and unfortunately will continue to think one way or another. The Flatte Earthers who do not believe in the existence of gravity as anything more than just a theory will not be able to accept the truth.

It's very compelling information about the shape of the earth as supposed by this video. But some things cited seem to be beyond ignorant, and not based on common shared results and observations which somewhat blows away the entire credibility of the idea.
Their math is wrong.
The Earth is 25,000 miles in circumference so modern science claims, which figures out to a curvature of a horizon drop of 8 inches every mile squared (spherical geometry ; trigonometry -- it's not a linear graph is what I'm getting at; not a straight line).
If we look at it simplistically, that every mile has an 8 inch drop, then we can perform a linear calculation. The acceleration curve is determined as radials at right angles to the circumference, not from a fixed point of observation along the circumference. From a fixed point along the circumference looking out straight, it's a "linear curve." Essentially though, since the Earth's surface is curved, then there is distortion that appears, for example the constellations of stars appearing distorted in shape. It can be an 8 inch drop every mile, but when you get out 50 miles, then that drop is going to be steeper.
If the surface of the Earth is geometrically accelerating (curved) at a drop of 8 inches per mile, then the statue of liberty (standing 326 feet above sea level) shouldn't be seen so many miles away, visible from 150 miles away. Yet, the astronomers claim it should only be visible for 60 miles according to the video. However because gravity bends the light we see over the curved surface, it appears flat thusly (because we can see over and around the curve that blocks line-of-sight), and we can see farther line-of-sight distances.
Looking up at the peak of a roof, we can't see the other side because the roof itself blocks our line-of-sight. However just as we can see Mercury coming out from behind the sun sooner, due to the gravitational field of the sun bending the light around from behind the sun, we can see farther on Earth surface. The wave-like nature of light is to note here. Waves can bend around corners. Gravity bends light.
There is no question that gravity bends light and that gravity curves space. It is proven. A gravity lens also is how astronomers observe distant stellar objects such as far away galaxies. When those galaxies pass very close to a distant star, that star's gravity field magnifies the galaxy so we can see it more zoomed in. Hence is from where originally the description of a "gravity lens" actually came.
The simple fact, if Earth gravity is strong enough to bend light so that we see flat horizons, then Earth's spin must be off-setting the gravity pull that we feel. If Earth were to stop spinning, it's likely we would all feel much heavier.
Accelerating inertia (going around in a circle is an equivalent field of acceleration, even if spinning at the same rate; inertial vectors) may actually change due to the flattening of the horizon aspect of Earth, so that we are no longer experiencing an acceleration, but a linear motion. Anything that is in motion linearly will just merely be in a different inertial frame, and no forces can be felt. A jet or train or a bus, once it gets up to speed, then that stabilizes in a higher frequency of inertia; one can get up and walk about down the isles and not even detect that the jet or bus or train is travelling at any rate of speed unless you just happen to look out the window.
We know the Earth spins. We can detect it. That aspect of Earth is a proven fact. If the Earth obeyed the current flat earth model, then when we tried to detect a spin, it would only appear as an oscillation instead of a spin, and we would be thrown toward the "edge." Well, oscillation maybe not. Being thrown to the edge for sure. The gravitational and inertial vectors change and are different between sphere and disk.
It's interesting to note that from non-mountainous flat terrain, most weather or storm systems can be seen on the distant horizon about 150 miles away. The lightning from the top of storm clouds can be seen 150 miles away at night. It seems that the sight distance to the distant horizon is going to be about 150 miles, unless one is on a hill or mountain, which would give a longer sight distance. Anything farther than that is simply below the horizon. That is one way of measuring Earth's gravity field, through it's lensing ability allowing us to see farther around the curve of the Earth than what the geometry of Earth's curvature allows.
Standing on flat terrain like out in the great planes, you can use radar to determine exactly when a distant storm system disappears behind the horizon by observing the flashes of lightning in the distances at night. Light is one of the best yard-sticks ever.
The Isle of Write lighthouse is 180 feet high, it can be seen up to 42 miles away, yet modern astronomers say the curvature of the Earth should place it 996 feet below the surface.

Now you bring Einstein in, who says acceleration field is a gravity field, then curvature is the creation of gravity. Curvature may be a misleading term, because a gravity field also flattens out the curve as seen in the pictures at the very bottom.
From a fixed point of reference along the circumference, we would not see any leaning of any objects left or right (Earth as a sphere), but only a distortion of shape as objects elongate due to geometrical curvature at a lean of 8 inches away as well as 8 inches lower, a mile away from a point of observation along the circumference.

I don't think anyone is taking Gravitation into consideration, though, and simple relativity, to consider the "flat earth" reality. Simply put, if gravity bends light, then it could very easily appear that Earth is flat, even out in space, until in another relative frame of reality affected by another gravitational source, such as the sun or moon.
However the time traveled and distances traveled by expeditions around Antarctica are mysterious.
As far as seeing other planets through my telescope, well I've seen the polar ice caps of Mars and some impressive features looking at other planets.
The only worthwhile argument that supports a flat earth would be a horizon perspective due to gravitation.
Crux, the constellation in the Southern Hemisphere is near the south-polar axis just as Polaris is toward the north hemisphere of the planet.
If there is an anomaly about Earth however, it appears to be a temporal distortion (taking longer to travel distances assumed on a sphere shape) at the magnetic south pole. It could be that gravitational anomaly that makes it seem that our planet is misshaped, as per the video link above implies.
I personally think that Gravitation is the reason for Earth's horizon shifts. And, it's possible that we are undergoing gravitational changes upon Earth and throughout the solar system and galaxy.
Gravity Lensing, but on the smaller scale of Earth. But, if there is indeed an "anti"-gravity well coming out of the south pole, well .. there are different types of gravitation. There are some types which don't change space and don't have a gravitational pull, but uses those forces to increase the flow of time, or decrease the flow of time relatively at distances from a point of origin.
Something is happening at Anti-arctica ... If there is a source of gravitation at the south pole, there is a faster flow of time immediately within it in the center, but a much slower flow of time directly around and away from it. That would throw off distance traveled. We now have to consider these types of paradoxes of spacetime curvature.
That would throw off GPS and everything.
A gravity field typically slows down time however. Time is sped up in gravity cancellation such as in the very center of a star, where the mass of the star is generating gravity and "pulling" evenly on all sides from the center, thus negating gravity, thus speeding up time.
A backwards flow of time directly as the magnetic south pole had been reported by a prominent Russian newspaper, which corresponds with Dr. Ning Li's understanding of artificially creating gravity in a lab. So not to be confusing with these relative paradoxes, if a field of gravitation slows down time relativistically in the field, what would make time actually flow in reverse? There would have to be an event horizon there, which is also what was reported in the Russian newspaper article, that a tethered weather balloon was sent in, and it disappeared from sight and radar. It was pulled out with the clock reading years in reverse. That is a complex paradox. Bob Lazar observed an ET gravity tube engine freezing time still; while in this instance, time is reversed and nothing can be seen from within the affected area.
I honestly have no analysis for why a backward time flow could exist. Relativity has been hashed to bits examining how gravity accelerates and decelerates time, but this is the only case in which negative time is the case.
Negative energy examinations show how the frequency of time is accelerated in a negative energy field, rather than retarded in a gravitational field.
Tesla experiments have shown that the Earth surface charge directly relates to negative energy in that the surface charge is an electrostatic charge of a scalar aspect, with no usable magnetic aspect (zero magnet). Again, negative energy is due to a collapse of electromagnetic space, in an expanse through itself and back into space creating a field, or a "warp bubble" of negative scalar energy.
Dr. Ning Li never discussed negative energy being used to generate a gravity beam, however. Yet negative energy would have to be associated with a force of negative time. No black hole has been discovered at the south pole. The event horizon was frozen-in-time swirl of cloudy mist, but it could be seen. Light is simultaneous because it exists without mass (as discussed throughout this website). That is similar to Bob Lazar's observation of the light from the candle flame appearing to be frozen. Also, such an anomaly would have to exist only on the Earth's surface, where ground meets atmosphere, not from within the surface, if indeed a naturally-occurring phenomena.
So, gravitation slows down time in a field, unless it is a negative energy force of gravitation which speeds up time, as the conclusions of this website go. But as far as reversing the flow of time, it would have to be a negative energy AND negative gravitational effect. A reversed flow of time is just not known in any of these physics so any attempt to understand such a thing based on these hyperdrive / light-drive / warp drive physics would be pure speculation.
Moving on.

Due to gravitation, there will be a point where you rise above the surface of Earth where Earth suddenly becomes a spherical shape. Each dimension of frequency, time, space, gravitation, inertia, ... every increase of frequency puts one in a higher dimension .. the universe behaves dimensionally like that. A sudden raise of dimensions changes the shape of everything perceivable. That's also a gravitational phenomenon of relativity.

There is no model yet to show how a flat earth system could possibly work. The sun does not revolve around the Earth. But, that is a paradox. It may not matter depending upon what frame of reality you are observing.
It may very well be that any planetary system is far more metaphysical than we ever imagined.
And also, it is very likely that the Earth is larger than what we have previously thought.
It can also be explained if Antarctica was a source of gravitation (having a large field of mass that warps time and space, slowing down time so that it takes longer to circumnavigate Antarctica than to circumnavigate the equator as the video above discusses) ... that would make it SEEM that Antarctica was the edge, because the source is in the middle of Antarctica. It's a paradox, in reverse. It must have been there though, for a very long time for all of our philosophies to be related with it. ... and our history of thinking it was that way before, recorded by the ancients who did have sophisticated knowledge of the flat Earth phenomena.

So, gravitation slows down time in a field, unless it is a negative energy force of gravitation which speeds up time, as the conclusions of this website go. But as far as reversing the flow of time, it would have to be a negative energy AND negative gravitational effect. A reversed flow of time is just not known in any of these physics so any attempt to understand such a thing based on these hyperdrive / light-drive / warp drive physics would be pure speculation.

Due to gravitation, there will be a point where you rise above the surface of Earth where Earth suddenly becomes a spherical shape. Each dimension of frequency, time, space, gravitation, inertia, ... every increase of frequency puts one in a higher dimension .. the universe behaves dimensionally like that. A sudden raise of dimensions changes the shape of everything perceivable. That's also a gravitational phenomenon of relativity.

There is no model yet to show how a flat earth system could possibly work. The sun does not revolve around the Earth. But, that is a paradox. It may not matter depending upon what frame of reality you are observing.
It may very well be that any planetary system is far more metaphysical than we ever imagined.
And also, it is very likely that the Earth is larger than what we have previously thought.
It can also be explained if Antarctica was a source of gravitation (having a large field of mass that warps time and space, slowing down time so that it takes longer to circumnavigate Antarctica than to circumnavigate the equator as the video above discusses) ... that would make it SEEM that Antarctica was the edge, because the source is in the middle of Antarctica. It's a paradox, in reverse. It must have been there though, for a very long time for all of our philosophies to be related with it. ... and our history of thinking it was that way before, recorded by the ancients who did have sophisticated knowledge of the flat Earth phenomena.

Let's examine some claims of Flat Earthers below:
The sun should make a narrower light cone. However we see here an issue of perspective in photography. This is also a perfect example of Relativity. If we were to fly around to the side of that image very rapidly and take a look, we'll see steeper angles of the light rays, but standing straight in front of it, we will see this phenomena here. You can't use a sextant to calculate the sun's height, because you don't know the angle of the steepness of those light rays from the side, only from the front.
If you ride a train and drop a rock off that train, you see the rock falling in a straight line. Some observer not on the train can watch you drop the rock as the train passes by, and the observer can chart a curved path for that stone to drop. That's basic relativity.
To put it another way: even though train tracks are in parallel, they tend to converge in the distance due to perspective.
This image below shows that the Earth cannot possibly be flat, because the orbit paths do not make sense on a flat Earth polar projected map. The Earth is therefore not a flat disk monopole.

I'm familiar with sine waves and spherical geometry. The station crosses the equator in a circular orbit, but not steep enough to carry it over the poles. Do you have a globe in front of you? You can trace that line all the way around the globe and it traces a ring in its path in a perfect circle, without deviating left or right on its straight line course, just going in a circle.
You can see that the Flatte Earth perspective is false because 1/2 of the inner circle of the flatte-Earth map is reversed in its curve compared to the sine wave which represents a circle around a flat projection.
The flat earth inner circle cannot be applied to that sine wave curve; it reverses directions over North America, which is not the correct curved path that the international space station takes.
The path is off in the flatte-earth model, showing a more southern point of entry over Africa in the lower picture.

The moon is at the distance of one electrostatic wavelength from Earth. The sun's energy is at a much higher frequency, roughly millions of electrostatic wavelengths. Tesla's theories use frequency to traverse distance in space. Hyperspace teleportation is what we get from that.. like using stargates, but instead is harnessed with starships.
I would have to say that the Earth is a little bit squished as a sphere-shape. Just a tad bit. Tesla also believed that, and developed what has become hyperspace interstellar teleportation technology based on what he observed in Nature.
If a ring can be suspended around the Earth equator, to provide unlimited power, protection, and mobility to the Earth if need be, then it would be seen that the Earth is round in shape, not circular in shape.
The surface of the Earth is just a small dimension, even though it overlaps with many other dimensions. What is under the surface is kept very secret from the public.
I think people are waking up to feeling the energy of Earth. The energy feels like a flat plane, but it mysteriously comes back around and meets up where it starts, as if the energy is a infinite plane, and yet that plane is also expanded through vectoral / curved / scalar space around a common central universal particle, god particle, or "u-tron" ... a point of converging and diverging dimensions.

The shadow from an airplane high above casts a wide shadow on the ground, but from the airplane itself, it looks to be the same size of the airplane, no matter the distance to the ground. From the ground, looking at the shadow of an airplane, or a little bird perhaps, it will look larger because the Earth's surface is curved! And so it covers a larger surface area? I dunno if that would make a difference, but we see evidence of a warping effect on the dimensions of space/time, none-the-less.
The pictures at the bottom of this article explain the lensing effect. Although the "forest canopy" effect can be explained due to a wide-angle fish-bowl, or fish-eye effect in photography. I have never seen such a thing talking a walk in a forest before. Shadows and sunbeams on the ground are ALWAYS in parallel. So the photo of the sunbeams through the forest canopy is a strange illusion, not a declaration of factual information. It could be pieced together by time-lapsed photography as well, where one side of the tree and the other side of the tree are imaged from different hours in the day.
But it looks much less creative than that, and it actually appears that the left of the tree and the right of the tree are not in the same actual frame, but have been pieced together through photoshop.

There are some places in the world where water runs uphill. .. The whole nature of dimensional relativity and gravitation warps space and time. The Earth curves scalar spacetime. In fact, I surmise being affected by another gravitational field will reveal the fact that gravity curves spacetime. Why does water run uphill? Well water does strange things.
My old swimming pool had a hose in the water about a foot under the water. The hose end was a couple of inches in diameter. I had back-flowed the water through the filter and turned the pump off, so that it siphoned out that hose, and the most amazing thing happened. The hose draped over the side of the pool and into the water and then curved out to about a 45 degree angle. It would have just floated on the surface had I not tied a rock to the end of the hose to keep it submerged. However, water siphoned to the very bottom of the hose. That means that when the suction was broken as soon as the water level drained to allow air to enter the pipe, the siphoning process still continued, all the way to the bottom of the mouth of the hose. You would have figured the siphoning process to stop as soon as air was entering the hose, but it didn't. Water flowed uphill. I have repeated that experiment several times, always with the same unusual results.

A tesseract or a hypercube shows us that space and time fold inward upon itself and expand inward upon itself, and in that same space also exist an outward expansion, so that there is expansion within, and expansion without, similar to a negative energy scalar field of electric charge around a machine or device.
General Relativity does not take into account the aspects of gravitation concerning several things: The speed of light is the frequency of time, otherwise light itself has no speed and does not exist in time. A gravitational field increases the frequencies of time and thus accelerates time, but general relativity says the opposite of what Tesla taught us. Tesla however worked with negative energy (the spark collapse of an electromagnetic field). The expansion or inflation of space is also not as mainstream science says it is, black holes show that gravity waves can travel faster than light, also.
The Flatte Earth reality is a hyperdimensional spacetime warp, like what NASA EAGLEWORKS is newly discovering in their lab, now in public view.
The Earth truly does have an Event Horizon of sorts of gravitational NEGATIVE curvature.

The Earth will be flat until there is a gravitational relative equilibrium with other gravitational fields in our star system, then we will start seeing curvature. The funny thing though, is that Earth behaves just like a dimensional rift, and a hyper-tesseract!
It is impossible that you can travel in a straight line only to end up where you start? But that only shows us the nature of our gravitational wave frequency and curvature, in a nutshell. It's not impossible, because it's not impossible to teleport to other stars faster than light speed. A Mobius strip only has one side, and that's not impossible.
When gravity waves turn inward upon themselves, affecting themselves, then you travel in a circle, until you have waves interacting with waves from another gravitational source. Then you hop to that other planetary plane.
The difference among portals is that we can travel through TIME slower, thus making distance longer, OR we can travel in higher frequencies of Time, and step from one distant point to another distant point, just like Light can do.
The twin particle experiment shows us that light can simultaneous move from point A, to any other point in the universe of point B. Anywhere else in the universe, as long as we can visualize the destination. Russian scientists are able to use a device that allows them to project their consciousness (not as crude as remote viewing) to distance places in the galaxy, or in other galaxies, and when they become entangled energetically with that other place (when consciousness fields -- the universe is consciousness and energy and light -- emerges to become one), then those Russian scientists will be the navigators through zero space and zero time, to teleport to that destination in a starship.
Engineering and Physics are valid on a flat Earth or curved Earth due to the dimensional warping of our planet's energy field. Matter is energy is light. All forces are Cosmic Substance, One Substance.
You have to take into consideration hyperdimensional physics, quantum physics, frequency physics, Tesla physics, Gravitational physics, and electrogravity .. Electrostatic waves travel faster than electromagnetic waves. Light is said to be electromagnetic waves and nothing can travel faster than light. That's not true. Light is Magneto-Electro-Static, as Tesla proved (see the home page). The energies of electromagnetic and electrostatic also show us two DIFFERENT visible light spectrums depending on frequency.
Electromagnetic visible light is red at the low wave and blue at the higher frequency. Electrostatic is different, showing either yellow or green as the lowest frequency, and red is in the middle, and then violet as the highest frequency next to white.
As our frequency increases throughout the solar system and this region of the galaxy, Earth should physically get larger. Just think what new lands we will be discovering, and already are, due to this phenomenon.
An electrostatic beam will ride the curvature of the charged Earth surface. So will light.
I can look out into deep space through my telescope, and I can see the portal of frequency and of space itself.
Earth, is the Ground Light of Consciousness. It is flat yes. However it is also gravitational and paradoxical energy matter space. There is inside and outside. Up is outside, down is inside. Gravitational curvature is why the planet is round if we observe Earth from being within and outside energy field of gravitation (another gravitational energy source).
Inertial physics are important, also! In relative frames of inertia, those fields are static fields. Relativity is felt only when the speeds and positions change, which is also a function of gravity, itself.

There is a place that is no place that we cannot find on Earth, but can see from beyond Earth Realm. In a ship which can remain in an independent gravitational frequency of light ... or carry that frequency from beyond Earth, unto the Earth, then that place can be found, a New Place.
The Event Horizon of Earth, the Antarctic Gate: Only in a ship, which can bend the entire planet realm in curvature can find this new place that does not exist on common Earth frequency ... We exist within a Realm, not on a planet?
I can't help but to be impressed with the Flatte Earth scope and magnitude of What in the World.
The Coriolis effect however shows that a hammer, picture frame, mason jar, or whatever object dangling on a long string will spin counter-clockwise in the northern hemisphere (looking down at the object), and clockwise in the southern hemisphere. Beams dangling from cranes, everything does this due to rotational inertia of the planet, and of that energy field of motion surrounding the planet. Flatte Earth model does not pass that test.
There are General Relativity issues, too. At what point in altitude over Earth surface does the horizon appear to curve? Light travels a curved path around the surface of Earth, demonstrating the curvature of spacetime of Earth, making it appear and measure all the same that the horizon is flat, when it really does have curvature. Line of sight is not a straight line, but it appears to be!
Light bends along the electrostatic charge of the Earth's surface. For example, Tesla's magnifying transmitters would beam energy parallel over the Earth's surface, and that energy would not shoot out into space, but would travel along the Earth's surface. That is why the Earth appears to be flat, because the information of the curvature of Earth as we see line-of-sight across Earth's surface as light bends.
If you shine a laser pointer to paint a distant target (very distant), it takes a curved path but appears straight line-of-sight. Look at someone else's feet in a swimming pool standing next to you, and you will see how light distorts the line-of-sight through the surface of water, for example. It is one of the very basic phenomenon associated with General Relativity.
The only question I have .. is "why can there exist two such models of the universe in a helio-centric versus an Earth-centric disk-realm 'world'?" Electrical vibrations of energy consciousness that resemble galaxies themselves ... How can it be? For there have to be galaxies, and yet, what kind of a place is this? What kind of a Universe is this?
It is utterly delicious!
IF it is the case though that we are living on a Flatte Earth, it would be a Realm. We can enter and leave such a Sacred space (our Realm) to venture out in normal dimensional space (not a realm) to visit other Realms. It means we are interconnected moreso via portals to other systems rather than needing ships. If that is the case then planets only exist as a placeholder for vast realms throughout the multiverse. That is the ultimate realization for a flat Earth REALM ... which is very exciting to say the least.
If you accept that the Earth is flat, then you should NOT accept limitation. Not limitations of thought or anything considered impossible. If we are living in a Realm, and not on a planet, then that means a lot more than what anyone understands. It means that we are capable of flying without even having to use machines. We are capable of astounding feats of super-Human ability to heal, regenerate, and live for hundreds of years if we are living in a place where the laws of physics are far greater than what we have accepted in the past.

We've heard of a Gravity Lens, so what about an Atmospheric Warp?
An atmosphere lens can make the distance to the sun appear to shrink, making it appear closer because of the curvature of the atmospheric lens.
An atmospheric lens would tend to focus the sun beams to a point however, converging them. Yet what we see is that the sunbeams are diverged through the atmosphere, not converged.
There is obviously a true space warp going on, otherwise we wouldn't see the angles of the sunbeams the way they are. However seeing it through the trees tends to defeat that idea, because the sun cannot be just 10 feet above the forest canopy.

The image to the right shows a road, that is parallel, but out in the distance seems to converge to a point. That is the case with sunlight, as the beams are in parallel.

Gravitational Warping; Planetary Gravity Lens
This is easy. Gravity pulls on line of sight distances. We can't see around a curve unless the light that we see is bent, of which gravity does bend light, so we see a curve as a flat plane.
Solar eclipses demonstrate this with distorted constellation patterns.
As far as radial sunbeams through the clouds goes: The Earth curve is gravity-warped flat, whereas the atmosphere is spherical, obviously by being able to see radial sunbeams through clouds like spokes when there are parallel shadows on the ground.
Over water, line of sight distances are farther. Water doesn't have as much mass as land (granite) and so less mass = less gravitational pull in that relative area.
Think about it! There's a whole bunch of comments that explain a lot of this mess, too. Pictures would be better, but I will do pictures later. This matter is not what I consider to be very important, since it is very easily explained. Flat Earthers don't believe in any of this, nor gravity anyway, so it makes little difference. Regular people though don't believe Earth is flat, so it makes little difference.
But for those who are curious, that's why this is here. It will come up eventually, might as well address it in the relevant place. Warp drive physics involves gravitational warps, so this is the most likely place to explain such phenomena.
A lot of it is sort of common sense, but it requires some pretty advanced thought nonetheless. Flat Earthers have some of the most closed minds, and are unable to grasp physics or scientific thought. But, their observations on the flat plane of Earth even from very high altitude at least 22.5 miles (and perhaps much higher), shows that there is a Gravity Lens actually present, due to Earth's mass.
Also, a gravity lens explains how sunbeams diverge, rather than converging to a point.

The curved line of sight is bent straight by a planet's gravity field resulting in longer sight distances and an abrupt edge, although way out in the distance. The higher up you go, the farther you can see until eventually you see the roundness of Earth, but it is at a great distance away from Earth that the shape of the planet can actually be seen.

Two equal frames of relative gravitational curvature of Earth explaning the flatness of Earth and the existence of radial sunbeams through clouds that make it seem that the sun is close to Earth in spite of shadows caused by sunlight always in parallel on the Earth surface. Parallel shadows from sunlight is due to the sun being huge and 96 million miles away.
If the Earth is flat and the sky is a dome, we would not see radial sunbeams like spokes shining through clouds. We only see radial sunbeams when the Earth is curved but relatively made flat by gravity - in that relative frame of gravity-warped space.
In layman's terms, Earth's gravity lens pulls the curve of Earth flat so we can see Heaven shining through the clouds.
When we get high in orbit like to the Lagrange gravitational equivalent midpoint between the Earth and the moon, we will see the curve of Earth. High geo-stationary satellite positions may be revealing due to the gravitational inertial vector equivalence and right angled inertial gravity cancellation.
A Matter of Precision
So gravity warps space. Here's a thought:
One mile of train track on Earth surface is straight and level. If we transport it into space or otherwise build a 2 KM long cylinder spaceship, and on Earth surface it is straight and level, then when we get into deep space will it be slightly bent?
Would that interfere with precision construction like for engines?
Instead of pondering this though, it's just easier to assume Earth is flat, and we can't go into space.
Just as long as you Flatte Earthers don't throw trash out your window or pour old gasoline in a creek, we might be able to survive on the same planet.

you know .. you'd have to be about 7,000 miles up in the air (nearly the diameter of Earth) to see close to the equator or to nearly see 1/2 of the planet, before real curvature is able to start being seen, not like only 22 miles up as in the case of the Little Piggy weather balloon... If gravity lensing flattens the curve and warps Earth space then its no longer acceleration and instead a linear frame of inertial motion where we feel no g-force from Earth spin ... just like how in a school bus or jet airplane, you can walk around in the isle without feeling like you're actually moving..

If space travel is impossible, how does gravity and light travel through space? What about asteroids and meteor showers?
